Dedupe not working

I have tried both strict and fuzzy dedupe rules for individuals using first name and last name as identifiers (using length blank and with low to high values and weight with varying values). I know that there are exact first and last name matches in the group I am deduping, but it still shows no matches.

Even tried creating a group with just two contacts with matching first and last name. Still showing no matches. Suggestions?

I experienced the same problem. I noticed that with records that had email addresses associated with the contact, the dedupe worked, but if only one of the duplicate records had an email address and the other didn't, it completely ignored the duplicate. I've tried creating custom dedupe rules that matches on just last name and first name and it still didn't work.

I'm running v3.3.1. This has been a problem since v3.3

Upgraded to 3.3.1, cleared out all caches and restarted everything. Now dedupe is working on a fuzzy rule with first and last name only. Weight of 5 for each and a threshold of 10.
