Is it possible to test-drive civictontribute page without leaving live page too?

I'm using 3.3.1 under drupal 6.20.

I setup a simple civicontribute page.  Everything works fine when I do quick tests with PayPal-std & PP-express processors.  However, the test-drive only works if it is fully enabled, that is, the live contribution page is also enabled and alive.  Its either both pages or neither page.  I see the same behaviour on your test site's civicontribute page.

Is there any way to turn off the live page and leave the test page up so I can do more extended tests without worrying about leaving an unfinished/broken live page open for use before its ripe?

I've used CiviEvents before (v 3.1.1) and I was able to enable the test page for testing without also leaving the live page up too.

Two other minor issues:
   1) is there a way to edit/modify the payment processor?  I can create them OK, but I can't seem to find way to edit existing processor parameters.
   2) I'm unable to delete my test contribute page.  I've delted ALL contributions associated with it, but the page will no go away.

Nope, may be you should not make event page "public" until you have configured event completely.
