google maps, display multiple addresses for record

I am using the mapping functionality, with profile display, works very well for what i need.
However, for some of my records I have multiple addresses, and I would like to be able to display in the mapping display the multiple sites.
Is there a way i can turn mapping on for multiple addresses, maybe by selecting the mapping to display multiple address types for a record (e.g. main, work, other,...).

Currently you cannot display multiple addresses of a contact. But you can display group of contacts in a map using profile.

Hi Kurund:

It is very good to be able to have multiple addresses for one contact, it is a logical feature.
Since I can have many addresses, it would be very good to have them reflected in the mapping.
Scenario: in Administer Civicrm, Option Lists, Location Types
This would be a logical extension of the functionality, and it would make me very happy :)

(FYI - I am already doing multiple contacts in a map, works really well for the site needs).

hey karen:

if this is important to your consulting company and/or your clients please consider contributing code to help make this happen. If you / your firm does not have any developers please consider hiring someone to do so: http://civicrm.org/professional . I suspect it will make some other people in the community also very happy :)

The sustainability of an open source project strongly depends on community contributions. So please do consider stepping up and contributing. If i had to guess this is probably a 20-40 hour project depending on the final spec
