Pear _error and more on import

Just upgraded to 3.3.1 from 3.3.0 and these issues are still present.

I am getting two error messages when importing contacts:

1) on the last import screen when you hit yes import now, the importing records progress window comes up and then an Open File dialog box that wants to save or open index.php. When I do open index.php I see the following pear_error: I am also getting this error when trying to save some contact records and accessing some administrative screens.

2) When I do not get the pear error warning, I am getting the following screen on the final import step

i suspect u've got geo-coding enabled but your hosting provider is not allowing a connection to the geocoding servers (google or yahoo)

u might want to verify this by disabling geocoding

geocoding is not enabled. on the mapping and geocode admin screen no provider has been selected yet. Is there another way to disable? I suspect it may be something different since I get this error on other screens than import.

The system was importing fine, then after doing a lot of deduping and merging the import is not working and I am getting these errors. The error started popping up during the merge process. If I merged two records and then tried to edit and save the merged record I would get the error when saving.

I am confused as to why I would be suddenly asked to open the index.php file when importing?

Please help!! I need to have all my data imported and cleaned by Monday!

Can you enable  backtrace in (admin >> debugging) and post the backtrace

if you have  deadline you need to meet, you might want to consider hiring someone from http://civicrm.org/professional

Being a holiday weekend, the forums will be a bit slow :)
