Queue mailings

Is there any way to queue two mailing jobs, such that I set them to go, and one will process first and then the other right after? Actually, they can both run at the same time, but the problem is that I can't spit out more than X emails an hour under my host's acceptable usage policy.

I understand I can set a time for the second job to begin, but just wondering if there's an easier way to do this without having to figure out the maths.

No unfortunately.  You should set the timed send of the second mail based on the "math" and estimated duration of the first mail.
Try CiviTeacher: the online video tutorial CiviCRM learning library.
