I would like to plan the best approach for dealing with repeating events. I am already using the "CiviRepeat" Drupal module to allow a person to create weekly events.

However it creates a new event record in the table "civicrm_event" for each event.  Which is a major hassle if the start time changes, there is no easy way to update the series of events.   I was thinking I could could use the event APIs or write some SQL to update all the start times, but I have no way of determining which events are part of the series.

Any ideas on how to allow the user to adjust the schedule for the entire series of events? 

BTW: None of these events have user registration attached.
