CiviCRM SMS - Anybody working on it?

Hello all,

I noticed there is an SMS directory with some work done in it.
Is anybody still working on this?

no, that code base is quite old and not maintained. We will get rid of it in the 2.0 version to avoid confusing people.

That said, i think adding SMS sending to CiviCRM is relatively easy and would be a great community contribution

Hi xiao,

I was looking into this aswell a little while ago, I spoke with Lobo, and he suggested it would take about 80+hours work to get it working again.

My perfect solution would be to have the ability in CiviMail to have a radio buttons (0 - Email, 0 - Sms).
