In an effort not to reinvent the wheel... has anyone done any thing to make a "Six Degrees of Separation" module for CiviCRM? Because every time I search I come up with completely different things... So either it hasn't been done or my search abilities have failed me.

For example, (using stock CiviCRM relationships) if my father is Bob and Mary is his mother and she works at Acme and Acme also employs Fred and Fred's son is Ted then I would be able to go in and ask the system "Am I connected with Ted" and it would tell me "Yes in 5 Degrees: Me -> Dad -> Grandmom -> Acme -> Fred -> Ted"
