Recurring donations pending - single contribute completed

As the subject says our single donations work recurring are pending with PayPal standard

How do we solve this so they are complete on processing?
IPN is OK - i think.

Is manual intervention required? ie do they need manually processing in PayPal under standard - if so please let me know ASAP

Are any of your Paypal standard contributions complete?  Or all they all "pending"?

If some are complete and some are not, this is generally for one of two reasons.

1. The user failed to complete the contribution.  I know it may be hard to believe that a user could change their mind or just screw up the process, but it happens very regularly ;-)

2. Paypal is slow updating the contribution, I've seen it up to 2 days to complete. Not entirely clear why.

Try doing some tests on your own to solve the mystery.
