unexpected $end in
January 05, 2011, 11:16:54 am
From a fresh install of CiviCRM on Drupal, I receive the following error when trying to access 'My Contact Dashboard'

Code: [Select]
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in altroots/drupal/sites/all/modules/civicrm/CRM/Activity/BAO/Activity.php on line 701

I received this error after installation as well, which prevented me from accessing the site. To fix it, I added a '?>' to the end and then was able to access the site again.

Now I receive this error trying to access the 'My Contact Dashboard' page, but removing that added php end did nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you post your versions of PHP and MySQL? You can find them at

I can not think of a reason for this aside from that perhaps that file was uploaded incorrectly, and is not complete. I would suggest you replace your CiviCRM source code files. If possible, upload the archive directly to your server and unzip it there.

Thank you! I just replaced the file from the original archive and it worked.

My pleasure. I would upload the rest of the files again also, just in case.
