I have this recurring problem where at some times I get access denied when I am trying to edit contribution pages or premiums. I have 'fixed' it a number of times, but I am wondering if it might be related to something other than any thing in the set up (none of my 'fixes' have involved changing access - I have administrative access to all Drupal and CiviCRM components). Also, when I try to recreate the error with debugging and trace on I don't get anything reported. I am wondering if this msg happens when there is not enough memory to handle the required action? It occurs to me that my 'fixes' happen at night when there is perhaps less happening on the site.

I'm totally in the dark on this. any help would be greatly appreciated!

Check the URL's you're accessing when you get access denied. Your login "cookie" is linked to a specific URL, but if your site uses > 1 url "interchangeably" - when you switch from one to the other you'll get that error (e.g. http://mysite.org vs. http://www.mysite.org).
