Adding UF matches via API
December 12, 2007, 08:58:37 pm
We're mass importing 4000 users (not all of whom have unique emails) from CiviCRM contacts to Drupal users. I have a Drupal module which can scan our contacts (specifically, only current members of a given type) and update or add a Drupal user for each one.

I'm looking for a function that creates the UF joins in the Profile API documentation. Is there a function matching crm_uf_get_match_id() and crm_uf_get_uf_id() but which sets the join, rather than reads it?

We don't use the manual Drupal user_import module because it requires manual intervention, and I want it automated.
