Odd Civimail issues...

I am sure this is a configuration issue and not a CIVISMTP issue so I thought I would try here -- I am on 3.2.5 and joomla

it is taking 3 or 4 passes of the same message to get my delivery out -- I am getting the Unknown bounce type: Could not parse bounce email

Here is what I did today

Sent a message to 1300 individuals today no insert tokens first pass 570 went 800 failed

Made a group out the 800 failed / took them of hold  (took off track clicks) 450 went 354 failed

made group of the 354 that failed took off hold (turned back on track clicks) -- 115 failed

made group of 115 failed and took off hold all failed

Took off hold and took off track click through all 115 failed but 100 of them are    Unknown bounce type: Could not parse bounce email

Any thoughts

Check with your hosting provider whether they don’t enforce mail sending limits (such as ‘a given number of emails per hour, then everything above the limit gets deleted’).

I use socialMission Web Host and who also consult on Joomla/Drupal/Civi - and they are trying to figure this out as well

This may or may not be your issue, but I once got a lot of 'unknown' bounce types because my disk storage space (MB) was near its limit.

I increased disk storage space and the unknown bounces went away.

Actually I think I narrowed it down to a configuration / rate limiting problem -- I think I have new problems - but I will post on a new topic.
