There is a validation error with your HTML input. Your activity is a bit suspici

Created a custom data set called Legislative with 4 Fields of Type Note using Rich Text Editor.

I have other similar fields used for contacts like "Additional Information" that is viewed Inline vs Tab.

In the "Additional Information" Field I can create links to other web pages and files with out issue. How ever, when I go to this custom data set, type in lets say "Supporting PDF", highlight it, click on the Link Icon in the Rich Text Editor, fill in the link field to the desired link location, then click OK, then Save, I get this error:

Sorry. A non-recoverable error has occurred.
There is a validation error with your HTML input. Your activity is a bit suspicious, hence aborting

Return to home page.

UPDATE:

I did some more testing on this. I created a new Tab Called Files/Links with one Field of Type Note / RichText Editor. I can save the contents with an embedded link.

If I go back to my Target Legislative Tab, If I only have 1 Field of type Note/RichText Editor, and only fill one field with an embedded link, no problem, it's when I go to the other fields and try adding additional embedded links for each field that this happens.

Back Ground on this layout.

The profile is used to publish a list of Legislative Bills on the front end. The client wants to be able to click on the Name of the Bill from the list, and then be re-directed to the website that the Bill is published on - so that Field is set to Public/Listings. the client also wants one other field in the results column that has link to supporting PDF's and opinions (This works nicely if no other field has embedded links) on that specific piece of legislation.

So - Is it NOT Possible to have multiple fields with embedded links in the same Group of Custom Data Fields, populated in a profile?

I know this was working before we updated yesterday to 3.3.2.

Please post your concerns and comments on my new meta-thread for this issue.

In my experience I've been able to reliably reproduce this about 1/2 the time.  The other half of the errors seem intermittent and un-re-produce-able.  ;)

Generally I feel this security feature is too strict.  I've received a complaint from three clients since the first of the year regarding this issue.  Obviously, they are not all hackers.

After reading this post, I went back and removed all html links, and was able to save data. Then, I opened the civicrm_uf_group table, and edited the help_pre column directly with the HTML source afterwards. So, I got the links actually working in the form. They also show up when "looking" at the form with the editor afterwards.

Hi,

Please avoid crossposting, the answer is on the other thread
http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,18168.0.html

I'm pretty sure the link isn't the problem by itself, but they are other issues with your content. You can disable the IDS but shouldn't. Beside being a security risk it would stop the symptom, not solve the cause of the problem.

Check the html source of the message, there is likely a problem elsewhere.
