Editing completed activities

Hey everyone. Quick question. Is there any way to edit an activity that is already completed?  I've been having to delete activites then re-log them if I want to make changes.  You can easily edit scheduled activities but for some reason not those in a contact's activity histoy.  Any help on this would be appreciated.

Currently in CiviCRM v1.9,  it is not possible to edit completed activities.

What about deleting activities for a particular contact.  Is there a delete all or delete selected?   Do we have to delete one at a time?

Yes you will have to delete activities one by one.

Is it just a matter of clearing out the civicrm_activity_history table, or are there other tables that must be taken into account?  I've barely started with testing and have 500 activity items already.
