CiviCRM Dashboard causing error "500 - No valid database connection:"
January 13, 2011, 02:58:42 am
Hi,
i followed all steps as specified in the documentation to get dashboard working in my joomla site. Even though the dashboard loads and displays information correctly, if "Contribution" entries are found in the database, it gives me an error "500" causing the whole site to crash (css styles, etc, get lost).

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Other functions like profile view, create, etc function perfectly.

(I am using joomla 1.5.15, and php 5.2.6-3ubuntu4.5)

Is this fresh install or upgrade? Can you check apache logs for errors?

It is a fresh installation, yes.

The only error I have is this:
"(Notice) ob_end_clean() [<a href='ref.outcontrol'>ref.outcontrol</a>]: failed to delete buffer. No buffer to delete."

Not sure what it means. I am quite new to joomla and civicrm as well.

Sorry this error does not look familiar :(  Did you check both error and access logs?

Not sure. Could you let me know where to find the access log?
