PayPal Pro sandbox account
January 14, 2011, 06:49:26 am
I'm having some difficulties setting up a test PayPal Pro processor. I've setup a preconfigured test account on developer.paypal.com and added the API keys to the Payment Processor settings. All seems fine when I go and test drive a form. However, the transaction doesn't complete and I get the following error:-

"Payment Processor Error message: 10501:Invalid Configuration This transaction cannot be processed due to an invalid merchant configuration."

Any suggestions?

Some progress has been made (although still not quite working yet). I've been in contact with PayPal about the issue and they told me the following:

"There is known issues with the preconfigured UK Pro accounts in sandbox, you can create a preconfigured US pro account and it should work perfectly for you."

So switching from a UK sandbox account to a US one got rid of my previous issue.

Unfortunately I now get a "Payment Processor Error message: 10001:Internal Error Timeout processing request".
