Can anyone tell me how to create a link that users can click on to signup for a mailing list. Or specifically a group.

I am using Joomla and CiviCRM 1.7

   <dlobo>   in civicrm there is no difference between a mailing list and a group
   <dlobo>   so u can create a profile and add the registered contact to a group (when they sign up via that profile)
   <dlobo>   and expose that profile to the frontend
