We are only sending ~1,000 emails but people are complaining that they are getting our emails after the events they announce. Here is a typical report from civimail:

I did not see this behavior before upgrading from version 3.1.3 to 3.3.1. I don't know for sure that it has anything to do with civismtp but if you could check on whether our server is delivering emails slowly to you that would help to narrow it down. We are youthforchrist on your system.

Actually, maybe this was related to CRM-7209 CiviMail fails to finish mail delivery which was fixed in version 3.3.2. The late mailing was was left hanging until I upgraded to 3.3.2 today, and then it finished. I didn't even realize we had an unfinished mailing on the server until people started to complain about getting it late.

Will post back if the problem recurs.
