greetings,
I have a site with the standard civiCRM mailing list subscription page which allows the user to enter their email address and then select the appropriate mailing list.

My client would now like to simplify this further by simply allowing the entry of an email address with a subscribe button. This will default the subscription to a default mailing list. They would ideally like this exposed on the home page of their site.

Can anyone here please point me in the direction of the appopriate documentation?
