Search by "Date Joined Group"?

I know that CiviCRM tracks the dates that people join a group but I cannot seem to find a way to search by that date. Is it possible to do this?

Currently no, you have to develop separate report or custom search for this purpose.

Just a bump to say that we think this would be a really useful feature. Our organisation certainly has a need for it now.

We could develop a custom search, but really it needs to be part of the Advanced Search form so it can be combined with other common search criteria, e.g. "Show me all the contacts in city X who've joined group Y within the last year."

hey kirk:

rather than developing a custom search, do u want to contribute a patch that incorporates this in advanced search

might want to think about, what happens if the user selects multiple groups
