Views Filter - "CiviCRM Contacts: External Identifier" NULL

I'm trying to setup a Drupal View which shows the contact records for which the External Identifier is missing.  These records are the ones for which external_identifier is NULL in the database.  I have been unsuccessful in configuring the Filters in Views (6.x-2.12) to return these records. 

Has anyone be able to get this working?  Suggestions?
