Trouble Attaching Attachments and Importing Records
January 23, 2011, 10:36:57 am

I get the following error:

Quote
Warning: rename(/MailingLabels_CiviCRM_2_d24e5a1b6ea9f58e1c077d867ba357c0.pdf) [function.rename]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/############/administrator/components/com_civicrm/civicrm/CRM/Core/BAO/File.php on line 117

Sorry. A non-recoverable error has occurred.
Could not move custom file to custom upload directory

Return to home page.

I also get a 500 Error when I'm importing data... It gets about 66% done and then I get the 500 error. I suspect they are the same issue because I'm finding the files I used to import and attach are in the same directory on the server. More specifically in the /administrator directory.

A little background:

I just upgraded the database to 3.3.3 and I'm starting to think this is related to the upgrade because I don't believe I had these issues before. I was on 3.0.3 before the upgrade.

I can provide more information as need, but is anyone familiar with this issue?

I ran into the same problem, using Drupal 6.20 and Civicrm 3.3.5.
Is your problem fixed?
I guess it's a problem with folder permission on de server, but haven't found it yet.
