"New Case" doesn't show in Menu

The demo site has a menu item ...
    Other > Cases > New Case
... which does not appear on my 3.3.2 server.

When I look at the navigation permissions on my server, the two required permissions are "add contacts" and a blank line. When I look at the civicrm_navigation table the "permission" column for the "New Case" row contains "access CiviCase,add contacts". So the blank line is due to "access CiviCase" which is not (any longer) a valid permission.

When I change the permissions to "add contacts,access my cases and activities", the "New Case" menu item appears.

Does this affect anyone else? Is a fix required?

Yeah I've seen this a couple times. It seems to depend on what you're upgrading from and haven't had time to track down if it's a bug or not or exactly which versions it affects. But yes you're not alone in seeing this.
