Send user to PayPal page in chosen language and generate receipt...

I have set up a bilingual French - English site.

When a user goes to the French application form and pays by PayPal she is sent to an English form. When The transaction is completed she gets an English receipt.

Am I missing something? Is there a way of passing the French language setting to the PayPal Page?

I have found reference to a fix/patch here

I am using version 3.2.4. Is this fixed in the latest upgrade?

I compared the two PayPalImpl.php files from version 3.2.4 and 3.3.0 and it looks to me that the latest version of the script is passing the language and character set parameters to PayPal where the older one wasn't.

How much trouble would I get into if I added PayPal the language and character set parameters to the older PayPalImpl.php file and uploaded it?  ;D

I think there are issues with PayPal and their handling of language variables so even if you got it to work in CiviCRM PayPAl will not display the payment page in the correct language.
