Hello all,

I'm trying to design a work process for reviewing and managing funding opportunities logged in CiviCRM. What I've been doing is using a custom activity I created called 'Funding Opportunity', which is then sent out to our team for review. Once the opportunity has  been assigned to someone for follow-up, I was going to create a follow-up action for that activity, which is due six weeks later. So far, so good.

The issue is that I can see our team members forgetting that the action is due, and I'd like to be have some sort of automatic reminder sent to them when we're getting closer to the date. Is there any way to make that happen?

I was hoping to have the whole workflow for funding opportunities go through CiviCRM, but it's looking like reminders will have to be handled some other way - unless there are other suggestions?
