I'm importing around a 1000 contacts for a CiviCRM deployment I'm setting up and I'm having some trouble with date formats. The date preferences and my csv file are set to standard UK format (dd/mm/yy) and I was a bit disapointed to find that this was not included in the date settings on import. I therefore changed my the date fields in my csv file to dd-mon-yy so I could select this option on import, however I'm still getting the same problem showing up in the error file that is exported:

Invalid value for field(s) : Interview 2 Date; Interview 2 Date; Birth-Date
Invalid value for field(s) : Interview 1 Date; Interview 1 Date; Birth-Date

These errors are showing up about half the time each.

Birth date is the default field and there are also two Interview date fields set up as custom fields. Can anyone offer any suggestions? Thanks.

As I said, I converted all the date fields into the format dd-mon-yy as specified on the first import page.
