ACL permission on Reports
January 27, 2011, 02:21:24 pm
Hi
Do you know if someone has developed ACL for permission on Reports?
We need very specific people viewing one or two reports.

Thanks

currently no, but this is the second query on it this week :) So seems like there is  need for this.

I assume u mean giving access to the reports to a specific "civicrm acl group", right? Would be great if you can contribute code to do so. We can help out on IRC and get u started

Hi lobo

We are trying to implement the same, giving access to reports to a specific acl group. But i have no idea how to do it.

It would be grateful if you could let me know how to implement this functionality.

Thanks.

hey rajesh:

if you get on IRC, we can help you get started on the code for this. Would help a lot if you read up on the civicrm acl docs on the wiki before starting the work. There will be some PHP/Civi coding involved for this

Hi Lobo

We are really keen in starting this work.

If you could let me know what needs doing and how long it would take(roughly) to do ACL for report, it will be really helpful for me to allocate resources and most probably can get the work started by the end of this week or early next week.

Will catch you up in IRC if any details needed. In the mean time, will read the acl docs on the wiki :)

Thanks a lot.

Was this completed, or any progress made on it?

If so, would you mind sharing the code?

i dont believe that this was ever started. If it was, the code was not shared with the community :(
