Opening and closing times
January 29, 2011, 03:54:36 pm
Hi

I want to add a custom fields to the entries of our branches to capture when they open and close each day the week. But there is no time data type format.
How could we add this?

Thank you
James

You could use military time, as all times are then integers.

For display purposes, you could customize your template to display the times in a more friendly manner, if required.

That's a good idea.
The only thing is that by default 0900 gets converted to 900

How could we add a new data format if we wanted to dip in to the code?
