I have searched the forums here and cannot find a definitive answer to the question:

Is CiviCRM 3.3.3 compatible with PHP 5.3? $:-\$

Some pages at civicrm.org inform that CiviCRM included PHP 5.3x compatibility starting with 3.2 while the installation guide for 3.3 insists CivCRM is not compatible with PHP 5.3x.

Joomla includes compatibility starting with Joomla 1.5.15+ (with the exception of OpenID lib) so that wouldn't appear to be a problem.

Yes .
CiviCRM started PHP 5.3x compatibility from CiviCRM v3.2.
