Status of CiviVoter and Canvasser

Do we have an update on the status of the CiviVoter and Canvasser modules ?

I've read the post at http://cvdemo.torenware.com/ but I'm not sure if this functionality is a core part of the CiviCRM package yet ?

Hey,

CiviVoter and Canvasser are not a part of core CiviCRM distro at the moment.

Thanks for that - I'm in New Zealand and we are scheduled for an election by Nov 2008. :)

I'll take a look and see how the functionality integrates into the current release.
