Opt Out Not Generating Links Back To Site
February 07, 2011, 03:05:30 pm
A very good afternoon:

We just upgraded to CivicRM 3.3

As we were testing the functionality it was noticed the opt out URL links were not working:

Here's the code:

To unsubscribe from this specific mailing, <a href="{action.unsubscribeUrl}">click here</a>.<br />
To never receive email from us again, <a href="{action.optOutUrl}">click here</a>.

What is received in the e-Mail is a localized link to a temp file with a target URL of %7Baction.optOutUrl%DB and not a link back to the site

All of of the other tokens are working and populating fine

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Donald Lobo

are you using the wysiwyg editor? if so, can you switch to using html source code (or upload an html file)

most likely the wysiwyg editor is encoding the curly braces and hence they are not recognized an tokenized by civimail
