Authorize.Net Merchant Receipt - Yes or No?
February 08, 2011, 01:49:18 pm
Currently, the Authorize.Net payment processor generates a receipt to the constituent, even if the option is turned off in the Authorize.Net configuration, because the x_email_customer flag is set to TRUE.  Since CiviCRM can send receipts itself, my constituents are getting confused with two receipts instead of one.  I propose that the x_email_customer field be removed from the CiviCRM interface, so the default setup on Authorize.net can be used.

Or am I missing something?

You could use the civicrm_alterPaymentProcessorParams hook and unset that variable.
