Contribution page is crashing after taking member data

Hi

Wondering if anyone can help.

Our Contribution Page 'Joining the Australian Progress Party' crashes after confirming the member data collection, just before the Thank-you and Receipting step.

The message is:

We can't load the requested web page due to an incomplete link. This can be caused by using your browser's Back button or by using an incomplete or invalid link.

*************************************************

It is on a yellow background.

The URL that the message appears under is:

http://www.australianprogressparty.org.au/index.php?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/contribute/transact&&_qf_Main_display=true&qfKey=

Any thoughts or suggestions would be most appreciated as we can't see that there is anything wrong.

make sure all your urls are of the form

www.aust....

if someone lands on the site at

australian...

u need to set a redirect to www.aust...

u might want to search on the forums for how to do this

Hi.

Just had a look at the redirection in the .htaccess file.  The redirection has already been set up some months ago in the manner you recommended in your reply.

What can we try next?

goto your contrib page with and without www

one of them should redirect to the other:

http://australianprogressparty.org.au/index.php?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/contribute/transact&id=1
http://www.australianprogressparty.org.au/index.php?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/contribute/transact&id=1

which it does not right now, and hence the problem :(

1. We updated the .htaccess file. All of the domains come into www.australianpro.....

Even when the url is reading www.aust.... it is still failing.

2. We noticed that the key seems to drop off when it goes to the screen that it is failing on.

So on the details confirmation screen the url is:
http://www.australianprogressparty.org.au/index.php?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/contribute/transact&&_qf_Confirm_display=true&qfKey=07b04ca100b0b789e5c44f05ec9731bc

Then when we press 'Continue' it goes to the screen that it is failing on, the url does not have a key on it:
http://www.australianprogressparty.org.au/index.php?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/contribute/transact&&_qf_Main_display=true&qfKey=

3. The Contribution Page works fine in 'Test-drive' mode.

4. Should we consider upgrading to CiviVRM 3.3.5?
