HELP please
February 10, 2011, 05:18:51 am
Hi

I am trying to set up my CIVICRM on joomla 1.5.22

the difficulty that i am having is front end simple search capability

all I need is a "Full Text Search" option for my front end users so that they can search my database through the front end

thanx in advance

There is currently no way to expose the Full Text Search to Joomla front-end. It may be possible in the upcoming 4.0 release which includes permissioning, but I haven't played with it enough to know one way or another. You can create a pretty nice search interface for front-end using a CiviCRM Profile - search is by one or more core and / or custom contact fields.
