Component Directory Structure
December 20, 2007, 11:15:37 pm
Hey, I'm trying to understand the purpose of the each of the folders contained in a component(e.g. Member or Contribute).  I found the purpose of the following files/folders are a bit ambiguous and i'm wondering if anyone can help.
1)Task.php
2) StateMachine
3) Import
4) Page

Thanks,

Donald Lobo

asking the below on IRC might be easier. However we are travelling and time spent on both forums and IRC for the past / next week has been quite minimal

Briefly:

Task.php: Coordinates all actions processed by a search form
StateMachine: Used in muti-page forms to describe how the multiple pages relate to each other
Import: Files used in the import process
Page: All civicrm rendered pages are typically either a Form or a Page
