PayPal Enhanced Recurring Payments
February 11, 2011, 02:10:36 pm
Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone has been using the PayPal Enhanced Payments option with their Website Payments Standard account.

I'm working with a new non-profit and they are looking into this option as an alternative to the standard recurring option, since donors won't be forced to have a PayPal account to set up the recurring donations (we think that may scare some folks away).  It is $20/month, though (after March 1st), so I'm not sure if it's worth using for a small org.

Has anyone used this in conjunction with CiviContribute?  Any issues with getting the two to sync up?  Any thoughts on whether it's worth paying for?

Also, if there are any opinions on using PayPal vs something like Authorize.net (more expensive, it seems) for a small non-profit, I'd love to hear them.  Thanks.
