Joomla 1.6 Wait or Go?
February 14, 2011, 09:56:52 am
I am getting ready to design a couple of websites that will be heavily CiviCRM based.

Should I go ahead and design for Joomla 1.6 or implement with 1.5??  They are summer camp websites and will need to begin accepting registrations within at the most 3 weeks.

Do I go with 1.6 ?  Or do I go with 1.5 then have to struggle through an upgrade after the camping season?

Given your short time frame, I would go w/ j 1.5. We plan on hitting alpha next week for 4.0 (J 1.6 version) - so i think that's too tight.
