Customising profile form DESIGN

hi guys,

need some help, ive been investigating a solution for almost a month and no hope sofar...

so we all know we can put a profile in a frontend form.

problem is my form looks so dull. Its a whole page of a long ass form with almost no formatting whatsoever.

I want to do some minimal design on the form, some indenting of fields, different color fonts for different fields, instead of 1 column form make it 2 column form, etc.

Where can i edit this please??

Next question, how do you guys do the date of birth field, with DD as 1 dropdown, MM as 1 dropdown and YYYY as 1 dropdown (All 3 dropdowns on 1 line) .Please anyone?

The answer to your first question is mostly CSS. Use something like Firebug to get the selectors and use custom CSS to style the form. If you want to dig even deeper into customizing, this entry in the wiki is the place to start.

I'm not quite sure on the custom date field collection but if I get some more time later I will take a look.
