Maybe I misunderstood the message template area

the latest civicrm has message template for system events the administer can configure.
I thought that there would be templates related to contributions that where recurring but what I see are templates like this mainly for membership related recurring.
I guess I imagined that with Paypal Pro now working with recurring donations it would make it necessary to have recurring messages come from civi?
Like your automatic gift for $10 has been processed.
Is there a timeline on this additional functionality if any at all?

the recurring templates use the same code as the regular contribution messages. check

http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/admin/messageTemplates/add?action=update&id=7&reset=1

(search for recur)

Thanks dlobo. Someone else in the office also pointed out the obvious. I think I just read the help text on the message page wrong.
I will be testing and doing some of this today.
