Author Topic: "Organization Name" field in profiles requires team or sponsor contact subtypes? (Read 693 times)

I'd like to use the "Organization Name" for edit and search profiles. However, when I select "Organization" as the Contact type, that field is not available. That field is available if I choose the Team or Sponsor sub-types, but then it doesn't show up in my profiles - which use custom fields I built using the generic "Organization" type, along with some standard fields from "Contact." I've not found much documentation on those two sub-types - should I be using one or the other for all my custom fields - or is there a way to get "Organization Name" to show up in the field selector for the generic "Organization" contact type?

I see in the built-in sample profile "New Organization" that the Organization Name field is available for the Organization contact type (as are of course all my custom fields). So I'm guessing there's something about the way I'm configuring my profile that's preventing some of the Organization contact fields from being available for selection (legal name is another such field that's unavailable). What am I missing here? Thanks.
