Is there a way to translate Individual, Organization, Household?
February 22, 2011, 05:04:47 am
I can't seem to get any changes to the built-in Contact types to stick, neither description, url or name changes. Is it supposed to be possible to change these or not?

If not, then there is no possibility to localize the terms "Individual" et al. which shows up here and there?

You can modify the label here: http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/admin/options/subtype&reset=1

Did you try the link you supplied to actually change the name of the "Individual" type? I think you should before you post. Because it doesn't work, which is what I tried to say. CiviCRM answers with "The Contact Type '' has been saved." and no change is made as far as I can see.

It was a bug and fixed in 3.4, http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-7537 you can get the patch from: https://fisheye2.atlassian.com/changelog/CiviCRM?cs=32440

Yes. I should have checked demo. I made a wrong assumption that it worked on local so it will work on demo.
