Really struggling with install - help
February 22, 2011, 11:59:59 am
Really struggling here.  New to CIVI, not new to Joomla.
Running Joomla 1.5.12, MySQL 5.1.47, PHP 5.2.13
Trying to upload and install civicrm-3.3.beta3-joomla.zip with no success.
No feedback within the admin screen.  No errors.  It's almost 12 MB file.

thanks for any insight/help.

Luis

note that you can't use the standard browse > upload > install method because the package size is too large

also -- why are you trying to install a beta version? you should be using the latest stable release
