Getting jquery_ui.module and CiviCRM 3.x to cohabit
February 23, 2011, 11:53:11 pm
I've searched the forums, but haven't found anything exactly on point.

The Drupal data popup module needs JQuery UI installed.  This gets done via the jquery_ui module, which currently loads jquery_ui version 1.6.

If the module is installed, tabs in the Edit Contact pages of CiviCRM break, apparently because both CiviCRM and jquery_ui.module are loading different copies (and potentially different versions) of Jquery UI.

I'm assuming this is a known issue, since the Date Popup is very commonly used.  Could someone please point me to  a work-around?

I've seen this with CiviCRM 3.2, and also with 3.3.5.
