Multi Threading Batches
February 24, 2011, 09:17:54 am
With the current CiviCRM there is an option for "multi-threading" to break up jobs. I am wondering how often these threads go? Meaning if I choose 100 emails for my batch limit, how often are 100 emails supposed to be sent?

If you have say 1,000 as your mailing size and 100 as your batch size

Every time your mail cron runs, a batch of 100 will start to send.

This increases the speed when you have large mailing size so you can have multiple threads running at the same time.

Cheers!
