Hi - so a client wants to offer 5-year memberships at price of 4 x the yearly Membership.
They already have 4 Membership Types so adding new membership types for each of the combinations would mean having 12 options, which seems a bit untidy.
Does the Price Set approach allow for buying multiples of a single type - if so, presumably it can't deal with the discount required in our case.
I suppose some templating approach could deliver the option so we have radio buttons by pulling together the 3 x options for each Type eg
Individual Members - o One Year o Five Year o 10 year
Family Members - o One Year o Five Year o 10 year
Corporate Members - o One Year o Five Year o 10 year

Any other thoughts? Imagine this is something other Orgs offer - how have you dealt with it

Did you ever find a good solution for this? I have single and family memberships (1 yr) that we would like to offer multiple years at registration (no discount, just multiple). I would like the multiple to provide the correct length of membership as well. It seems that the price set allows you to offer the multiple, but it doesn't impact the length of membership.

nope - we split people prior to sending them to the membership page
