CRM-7276 can 'highlight' be a different colour to 'select'?
February 25, 2011, 10:28:46 pm
Folks,

Thanks for CRM-7276 - the row highlight is a real accessibility bonus!

The only short-fall is that the colour used for highlighting (mouse-over) is the same as that for selected rows. This causes two issues ...
  • When selecting rows, a user may be confused and think that a row has been selected when it merely has the mouse over it
  • After selecting three or more adjacent rows, the mouse-over loses it's intended effect of highlighting the current row

I'll leave the decision to a colour expert, but my vote would be for a pale green highlight!

Ken
