Storing objects in Civicrm
March 03, 2011, 05:13:21 am
I was wondering what capacity there is to store objects in civicrm (or associate them with Civicrm) and then associate groups with those objects .

E.g.: if one of our contacts where to send us a pdf document or a jpeg (about healthy eating lets say) that they would like to associate with the "Health" group (just an example of a name), every time someone did a search for resources connected to that group, they would be presented with the option to view those resources (like a pdf or jpeg) on our website.

I will be happy to explain further if needed.

Thank you for any help.

IMO, that's better suited to store documents on the CMS side, not the CRM one.

You might want to explore organic groups on drupal, where you can store docs associated with these groups, and there is a module that sync OG and civicrm groups.
