Hi community,

I need to create a photo directory for members. I don't just want to see a member's photo when I click on their contact link: I want a thumbnail right in the table of search results for members. Is this possible?

This is kind of a duplicate post to one I made in the Profile forum, and I apologize for this. This is kind of a deal-breaker feature as I decide if CiviCRM is right for our site.

Paul,

If you are going to use CiviCRM with Drupal, you should be able to do this through Drupal Views. We are doing this for a client who is creating a church directory. The images are all stored in the same folder and can be referenced directly. The directory has a variety of images, custom data, addresses, etc. We also integrated in quick tabs for a better presentation. The user searches for church based on a set of criteria, a list of churches that meet that criteria appears, the user selects a church and the detail church info is displayed.

The civicrm_file.uri column contains the reference to the image

All of the images contained in CiviCRM are in the following directory: /sites/default/files/civicrm/custom
