Custom field for events

using civicrm 1.9 created a custom field for events now the event doesn't show up. .blank screen... i did this on 1.8 didnt' have a problem

on the demo site it works fine.. cant figure out why my site is breaking(blank)  im noticing the site has the following version

Powered by CiviCRM 1.9.12267

i have Powered by CiviCRM 1.9.11960  was there any bugs in this one?

Have you checked the Apache log for any PHP error msgs? It's possible that you got caught by a change in the memory requirement when you switched releases.
